Improving Donation and Service Conversion for a Anti-Bullying Nonprofit
Redesigned a nonprofit website experience to improve donation flow, increase service visibility, and create a more accessible, trust-driven experience for families seeking support.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Non-Profit
Client :
All Is Well Family
Project Duration :
5 weeks

Overview:
All Is Well Family is a nonprofit focused on supporting children affected by bullying. The goal was to improve donation conversion and make resources easier for parents to access.

Discovery & Research
Using a structured research framework, I evaluated the site’s usability and conversion flow.
GA4 Simulation: Identified friction in multi-step donation paths
Clarity-Based Thinking: Highlighted low CTA visibility and scroll fatigue
Accessibility Audit: Revealed contrast and alt-text issues impacting usability
The core issue: users were not being clearly guided toward donation or support actions.
CHALLENGES
Donation CTAs lacked visibility and consistency
Multi-step donation flow created friction
Content was dense and difficult to scan
Accessibility gaps limited usability

Design Solutions & Rationale
Introduced high-visibility CTAs across all key entry points
Simplified donation flow into clear, direct pathways
Reorganized content using modular sections and hierarchy
Improved accessibility through:
better contrast
descriptive alt text
structured layouts

Constraints & Considerations
No access to donation analytics or conversion data
No backend access to test improvements
Approach:
Applied accessibility standards (WCAG)
Used conversion-focused UX strategies
Simulated analytics insights to guide improvements
Outcome
The redesigned experience creates a clear, accessible, and conversion-focused journey, making it easier for users to donate and engage with the organization.
Closing
This project reflects my approach to designing user-centered experiences that balance clarity, accessibility, and emotional impact—especially in environments where trust and ease of use are critical.
